AquaSculpt's ingredients are generally well tolerated, but berberine is a biologically active compound with real side effects and interactions.

Medication interactions
- Diabetes medicine: several ingredients lower blood sugar.
- Many prescription drugs: berberine affects liver enzymes that process medicines such as cyclosporine, some statins and sedatives.
- Blood thinners: resveratrol, ginseng and green tea may affect bleeding.
- Thyroid medicine: ALA may affect absorption; take them apart.
Who should not use it without medical advice
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding (berberine is not considered safe).
- Anyone under 18.
- People with liver disease.
- People taking regular prescription medicine.
